The Met Gala 2012

The Costume Institutes annual benefit gala has finally arrived! The Met Ball is super exciting as you get to see all the hot designers and celebrities wearing the most fabulous and extravagant gowns. Being called "the Oscars of the East Coast", it's no surprise that tickets for the Gala are outrageously expensive; after all, it's overseen by Vogue and known as one of the biggest annual social events in NY. This is also not just any Red Carpet event, but a Red Carpet in which designers bring a model and/or top celebrity as their guests, and show-stop them in one amazing piece! It's a night where you dress to impress and celebrate fashion as art. Tonight for the first time ever, you can watch this ultra Red Carpet live as it streams on the web between 6:30 & 8:30pm (EDT). Prom Queen

Have you ever wished that you could go back in time and change what you wore to Prom?

Were you an ugly prom dress victim?

Oddly enough, I can't say that I hated what I wore to prom back in 2001, but I certainly wouldn't be caught dead in it either! So with prom season on the horizon it got me thinking; what would I wear to Prom 2012? With so many stunning dresses these days, I would definitely have a hard time choosing just one...which means, a wardrobe change during the middle of the night would definitely be needed!
So if I was 17-18 years old again, with an unlimited budget, I would be trying on these dresses...
