The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Oscars Edition

With plenty of amazing dresses, the Oscar Red Carpet was definitely fierce this year! So with that being said, let's take a look at all the hits and misses, including the WHITE OUT that covered the red carpet this year!

BEST
Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton
You have totally redeemed yourself Michelle! BRAVO! This makes me think back to your 2006 marigold Vera Wang dress that was also a stunner on the Oscar Red Carpet!

Rooney Mara in Givenchy
Structured, yet soft and elegant! I love Rooney's style! Biggest risk of the night!

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
She's certainly not 'Jenny from the block' here...wow!!!

AND THE WHITE OUT CONTINUES...
Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford
So simple, yet so fierce!

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
Stunningly beautiful and the fit is to die for!

milla jovovich oscars 2012 01
Mila Jovovich in Elie Saab
Gorg!!!

THE GOOD
Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Seriously, can you be any more gorgeous?! Not fair! lol

Cameron Diaz in Gucci
This is classic Cameron on the Red Carpet

kate mara oscars 2012 03
Kate Mara in Jack Guisso Couture

Jessica Chastain in McQueen

Stacy Keibler in Marchesa
Not too many women can pull off extra fabric around the hip area...well done. If the Oscar statue was a woman, I imagine she would look like this!

Rose Byrne in Vivienne Westwood

THE BAD
Emma Stone - Nicole Kidman - Oscars Split - P - 2012
Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli
Okay, this isn't the ugliest dress however, Emma totally copied Nicole Kidman's look from the 2007 Oscar Red Carpet where she wore Balenciaga!!! Not cool Emma! lol And it's never a good look when a dress wears you and then puts a bow on top....

Natalie Portman in Vintage Dior
I just don't think there's a need to connect the dots on the Red Carpet.

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa
I think this dress would have photographed better if the top was as fitted as the bottom...it almost looks like long weird fingers hugging Sandra's hips or something?

Penelope Cruz in Armani Prive
Penelope looks nice, but it's too safe, boring and predictable for me.

Kristin Wiig in J Mendel
Why don't people understand that looking nude on the Red Carpet is never a good look?! This dress would have been so pretty in an actual colour.

THE UGLY
Shailene Woodley in Valentino Couture
Shailene is just way too young to pull off this more matronly look. She should be wearing something fun and pretty...and not look like she borrowed her grandmother's nightgown.

Worst Dressed at the 2012 Oscars
Melissa McCarthy in Marina Rinaldi
I love Melissa, but this is just too much fabric for her. I would have loved to see her sleeveless in this dress.

Busy Phillips in ???
I would have given Busy my 'Most Improved' look if it weren't for the bad styling of the earrings and shoes.

LOVE/HATE
Viola Davis in Vera Wang
I love this colour and the bust is amazing, but once my eye gets to the bottom, I think she looks like a green serpent...?
